The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) are announcing a call for proposals for new joint mobility projects to be carried out in the years 2026–2027 under the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation.

Thematic scope: Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences

Maximum number of projects to be funded: 2

Maximum project duration: 2 years

Project start date: April 1, 2026

Funding includes:

• Economy class airfare
• Up to 40 days of personnel exchange per year per project
• Daily allowance (for maintenance and accommodation) – EUR 130
• Justified domestic travel costs related to the project
• PAS–JSPS projects will follow the “sending side pays all” principle
• The maximum reimbursement amount for Polish researchers’ travel under the project is PLN 60,000
