Committee on Statistics and Econometrics of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The Committee on Statistics and Econometrics of the Polish Academy of Sciences operates within the structure of Division One: Humanities and Social Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It was first established in 1972. The Committee’s task is to stimulate the development of statistics and econometrics in Poland and to promote the theory and practice of Polish statistical and econometric achievements among other scientific communities.
