Committee on Public Health of the Polish Academy of Sciences

Committee on Public Health of the Polish Academy of Sciences operates within the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Its scope of activity covers public health and epidemiology.

The Committee’s tasks include taking actions aimed at developing the discipline of public health, in particular: analysing and assessing the state of science, commenting on scientific policy issues, initiating research, evaluating programmes and cooperating in the dissemination of research results and scientific works.

The Committee acts as the National Committee for Cooperation with the InterAcademy Panel on Health.
