Committee on Thermodynamics and Combustion of the Polish Academy of Sciences

In 1972, two committees were established for the first time from the Committee on Hydro-Thermodynamics of Machines and Chemical Engineering: the Committee on Thermodynamics and Combustion and the Committee on Chemical Engineering.

Scope of activity
Technical thermodynamics (energy conversion), heat exchange, thermal engineering, thermal power engineering, refrigeration, combustion (thermal, chemical and mechanical phenomena). The committee also cooperates extensively with many research centres around the world.
