Committee on Veterinary Sciences and Reproductive Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The Committee was first established in 2016 as a result of the merger of the Committee on Reproductive Biology (established in 1981) and the Committee on Veterinary Sciences (established in 1956), continuing their activities.

The Committee analyses the current state and development of veterinary sciences and animal and human reproductive biology, initiates and coordinates community activities in the development of the represented areas of science, sets priority research directions, initiates interdisciplinary research within veterinary sciences and reproductive biology and in cooperation with related disciplines, popularises and disseminates achievements in veterinary sciences, reproductive biology and issues related to animal and human health protection, cooperates with national and foreign scientific and professional organisations and societies.
