Scientific cooperation between the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) and the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (LAS) for the years 2026-2028
The International Cooperation Departments of the PAS and the LAS open the call for three–year joint Polish-Lithuanian mobility projects for the years 2026–2028 within the Agreement on scientific cooperation between the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
On the Polish side, the call is also open to scientists from outside of the structures of the Polish Academy of Sciences (from state universities and other state scientific units).
Submission deadline:
- The application forms (zgloszenie polsko-………projektu) should be submitted only by e-mail until 1 December 2025

- On the part of the Polish Academy of Sciences, project applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

| Scientific value of the project | Originality, scientific significance, anticipated impact on the development of the discipline | 40 |
| Relevance of the team’s achievements to the project topic | Scientific competence and experience of researchers in the given field | 25 |
| Compliance of tasks with objectives and anticipated results | Methodological consistency and logical structure of the research plan | 20 |
| Feasibility of implementation within the set timeframe and budget | Feasibility of the project in light of the plan, resources and schedule | 15 |
Funding:
- The projects PAS -LAS will be carried out according to cost sharing system. i. e.:
- the sending side (or investigator’s scientific unit or researcher personally) covers the costs of international travel to the place of destination and return.
- the receiving side covers the costs of the stay of the foreign visitors (daily allowances and accommodation) in accordance with internal regulations.the number of projects approved in the years 2026-2028 and the maximum quota for mobility under each project will depend on the budgetary situation of PAS and LAS.
