The Committee on Environmental and Evolutionary Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences continues the tradition of previous committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences, primarily
the Committee on Ecology, the Committee on Evolutionary and Theoretical Biology, and the Committee on Nature Conservation.
