Committee on Environmental Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences

The committee’s scope of activity covers a discipline that applies engineering methods for the protection and shaping of the environment, and therefore develops mainly on the basis of technical, natural, legal and economic sciences. It provides the basis for the rational management of natural resources, as well as for forecasting, assessing, preventing and repairing the effects of human activity.
