Committee on Forest Sciences and Wood Technology, Polish Academy of Sciences

KNLiTD was first established in 2016 as a merger of the Forest Sciences Committee, which had existed since 1956, and the Wood Technology Committee, which had existed since 1961.

The Committee’s scope of activity covers the entire range of forestry sciences, taking into account the multifaceted functions of forests and environmental protection, as well as the broadly understood field of woodworking, including various wood processing technologies and the conservation of wooden monuments.
