Committee on Human Genetics and Molecular Pathology of the Polish Academy of Sciences
The Committee on Human Genetics and Molecular Pathology is the successor to the Committee on Morphological Sciences, which was first established by Resolution No. 9/60 of the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences on 26 February 1960. The committee changed its name to the Committee on Pathomorphology (1966), the Committee on Cytopathology (1969), the Committee on Cell Biology (1972), the Committee on Cell Pathophysiology (1975), the Committee on Cellular and Molecular Pathology (1996), and currently the Committee on Human Genetics and Molecular Pathology (2003). The name changes were due to the rapid development of various branches of biological and medical sciences.
