Committee on Metrology and Scientific Instruments of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The Committee on Metrology and Scientific Instruments is a scientific committee operating within Division IV of Technical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The committee was first established in 1968. It originally operated under the name Committee on Metrology. In 1972, the Metrology Committee merged with the Committee for Data for Science and Technology. At that time, the Committee’s current name was adopted.

The committee’s scope of activity includes measurement systems and devices, measurement sensors, data analysis, signal processing, analysis of measurement uncertainty, measurement process planning, modelling of measurement objects and systems, and simulation studies.
