Tasks of the Agency

The tasks of the Agency also include the monitoring of European Union research and innovation policies and strategies and the organisation of events focused on these areas (e.g. the European Research Area). In this context, the unit cooperates with liaison offices – PolSCA equivalents in other European countries – within the IGLO network (the Informal Group of RTD Liaison Offices), with the National Contact Point and the NCRD Office in Brussels operating at Business Science Poland.

Activities of the Agency

The PolSCA Agency organises numerous events aimed at Polish scientists to familiarise them with the activities of the international scientific community, the programmes and objectives of the European Commission and the offer of funding for transnational research. These include cyclical V4 Training for outstanding science managers from Polish universities and scientific institutes (carried out in cooperation with Visegrad Group countries), regular PolSCA webinars on Horizon Europe, seminars or other international thematic events.

In addition, as part of the academy’s research-oriented activities, in synergy with the PASIFIC project, the Agency animates and supports the operation of a network of research managers working in the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Horizon Europe NAVIGATORS.
