The podcast ‘What's up, PAS, in (science) politics?’

Professor Dariusz Jemielniak, Vice President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, talks to representatives of political groups and the scientific community about the concept of science policy for the coming years. During the meetings, which are broadcast live, he asks his guests questions about challenges and threats to the development of science and innovation in Poland and worldwide, plans for the amount of funding for science, and ideas for supporting scientific research.

There is also no shortage of questions about ideas for increasing the involvement and participation of civil society in the process of creating and implementing the state’s science policy, as well as for improving the working conditions and professional development of scientists, especially young and beginning scientists, and making scientific careers more attractive.
