ERC mentoring workshop for representatives of the humanities and social sciences
The Vienna Institute of Human Sciences and the Polish Academy of Sciences are organising a free mentoring workshop to prepare for applying for European Research Council (ERC) grants. The workshop is aimed at researchers representing the humanities and social sciences planning to apply for ERC Starting and Consolidator grants between 2025 and 2027. The event is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The meeting will take place on 4 and 5 July 2025 in a remote format. Participants will have the opportunity to present their project ideas and consult with invited mentors. ERC experts – laureates and panellists – will share their knowledge and experience with participants on how to refine a research idea and increase the chances of obtaining ERC funding.
The workshop will be held in English.
