The Excellence in Science Department of the Polish Academy of Sciences invites prospective ERC applicants to take part in an ERC Information Day on 14 April 2026, taking place at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw from 10:00 to 17:00.

Throughout the day, ERC experts – laureates and panel members – will share their experience in preparing and evaluating proposals during three dedicated parallel sessions (Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities and Physical Sciences and Engineering), offering valuable guidance to help you strengthen your application.

Participants will also be able to attend a panel discussion with ERC Ambassadors and a representative of the ERC Scientific Council, who will present the latest developments and opportunities in the current ERC calls, including the newly launched ERC Plus grant. Moreover, ERC Ambassadors will also share their perspective, explaining why a critical mass of ERC grants in Poland is needed.

In addition, representatives from the Excellence in Science Department and the ERC National Contact Point will introduce their support available to applicants, helping you navigate the application process and make the most of the opportunities offered.

The event will conclude with a networking cocktail, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow applicants and ERC experts in an informal setting.
