18th edition of "Training for Research Project Managers" – application form is now open

18th edition of “Training for Research Project Managers” organized by the V4 liaison offices in Brussels – application form is now open!

The training will take place in Brussels from 9th to 11th March 2026, accommodating 35 participants: 28 research administrators from research and innovation institutions in Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, and 7 participants from other EU or Horizon Europe-associated countries.

This training is specifically designed for research project managers (RMAs), including R&I support personnel such as project managers, coordinators, support officers, and assistants. Past editions featured participants from countries like Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Slovenia, fostering a diverse and dynamic learning environment.

The 3-days training will include interactive workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities to exchange experiences and best practices. While it will not focus on teaching basic Horizon Europe concepts or proposal writing, it will enhance participants’ soft skills and provide opportunities for collaboration on potential widening proposals. Active participation throughout the program is required.

Participation is free of charge; however, travel and accommodation costs must be covered by the sending institution/participant.

The registration deadline is 19 January 2026. Applications will be reviewed to select 7 participants (ensuring geographical and gender balance). Successful applicants will be contacted by 27 January 2026. First, individuals who have not participated in previous editions of the training will be engaged to participate.
