17 kwietnia 2024 roku w Pałacu Kultury i Nauki w Warszawie odbyło się spotkanie kierowników ukraińskich projektów badawczych realizowanych w ramach programu długoterminowego wsparcia „LTP Ukraina”.
Po krótkim powitaniu przez prof. Marka Konarzewskiego Prezesa Polskiej Akademii Nauk i dr Annę Plater-Zyberk Dyrektorkę Biura Współpracy z Zagranicą PAN obecni na spotkaniu Kierownicy Projektów przedstawili dotychczasowy przebieg prac badawczych. Wśród wyników prac LTP są już pierwsze prace opublikowane w najlepszych międzynarodowych czasopismach jak np. publikacja w Physical Review Letters (Phys. Rev. Lett. 132, 098101 (2024) – Polar Self-Organization of Ferroelectric Nematic-Liquid-Crystal Molecules on Atomically Flat Au(111) Surface (aps.org).
Kierownicy Projektów mieli okazję podzielić się z pozostałymi uczestnikami spotkania swoimi spostrzeżeniami i sugestiami dotyczącymi realizacji projektów. Spotkanie było doskonałą okazją do nawiązania bezpośrednich kontaktów, które mogą zaowocować w przyszłości także w zakresie naukowym.
Meeting of Principal Investigators of Ukrainian research projects carried out under the LTP Ukraine program
On April 17, 2024, a meeting of Principal Investigators of Ukrainian research projects implemented under the long-term support program „LTP Ukraine” was held at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.
After a brief welcome by Prof. Marek Konarzewski, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Anna Plater-Zyberk, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the PAS, the Principal Investigators present at the meeting reported on the progress of their research work to date. Among the results of the LTP work are already the first papers published in top international journals such as the publication in Physical Review Letters Phys. Rev. Lett. 132, 098101 (2024) – Polar Self-Organization of Ferroelectric Nematic-Liquid-Crystal Molecules on Atomically Flat Au(111) Surface (aps.org).
The Principal Investigators had the opportunity to share their experiences and suggestions on the implementation of their project with the other meeting participants. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to establish direct contacts that may also bear fruit in the future scientifically.
