Konferencja “Numbers in the Universe”

w dniach 7-11 sierpnia odbędzie się konferencja “Numbers in the Universe”, pierwsze wydarzenie organizowane przez nowo powstałe Międzynarodowe Centrum Matematyczne w Ukrainie (ICMU), współorganizowane przez Międzynarodowe Centrum Matematyczne im. Stefana Banacha. Konferencja będzie poświęcona najnowszym postępom w teorii liczb, a wśród prelegentów znajdą się laureaci Medalu Fieldsa: Maryna Viazovska i Terence Tao.
Konferencja będzie odbywać jednocześnie w Instytucie Matematyki PAN w Warszawie oraz Kyiv School of Economics w Kijowie.

“Numbers in the Universe” conference, the first event organized by the newly established International Centre for Mathematics in Ukraine (ICMU), co-organized by the Stefan Banach International Mathematical Centre. The conference will focus on recent advances in number theory, and speakers include Fields Medal winners: Maryna Viazovska and Terence Tao.
The conference will be held simultaneously at the Institute of Mathematics PAS in Warsaw and the Kyiv School of Economics in Kyiv.
