On 17–18 November, the Polish Academy of Sciences hosted a meeting of professionals working on communications from academies across Europe.
Some 40 communications professionals from 30 academies gathered in Warsaw to discuss their work, share skills and experiences, and build connections and friendships for the future.
After two days of practical training on a range of subjects, from podcasting to video production, attendees return to their home countries to put their new skills into practice.
The meeting was organised by SAPEA, part of the European Commission’s Scientific Advice Mechanism. In addition to providing scientific advice at EU level, SAPEA has a mission to build connections between academies and share good practice.
