The Polish Academy of Sciences and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) are announcing a Call for proposals for the realization of joint research projects and joint scientific seminars to be carried out in the years 2024-2025 under the scientific agreement between the two institutions.

Funding of mobility projects
The quota for each country’s researcher stay in the counterpart country shall not exceed 50 man-days per project per fiscal year. The total amount of funding from PAN: up to 13,500 PLN for each joint research project per fiscal year. A maximum of 27,000 PLN for each project for the overall duration.
The sending side will cover international travel expenses, while the receiving side will cover domestic travel expenses, daily allowances and overseas insurance premiums.
Deadline for submission of applications for mobility projects: 5th September 2023.
Organization of Polish-Japanese seminars
Funding of seminars
The amount of funding for the organization of 1 seminar is max. 13,500 PLN (if the event is organized in Poland). The sending side will cover international travel expenses, while the receiving side will cover domestic travel expenses, daily allowances and overseas insurance premiums for participants from the sending side, as well as the costs of the event onsite organization.
Deadline for submission of applications: 5th September 2023.
